Automation Service Engineer

CFT Group seeks for the Parma head quarter, a professional in the role of Automation Service Engineer, placing within the Processing Customer Care functional area.
Reporting to the After Sales manager, he/she will be in charge of planning and carrying out service interventions, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades of electronic systems and equipment, with a view to continuous improvement and focus on People, Process, Performance, with insertion in a multinational and multicultural environment in continuous growth.

What you will support:

• Monitors and restores, during the life cycle of equipment and systems, the conformity of their operation to technical specifications, user safety and environmental regulations;
• Performs service activities, diagnostics and upgrades upon customer request remotely and, if necessary, on site;
• Performs remote electronic technical support activities in support of site activities.

To Be Successful in this Role:

• Engineering degree or technical degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Automation field;
• At least 5 years‘ experience in relevant business, preferably in Process and food processing technologies (e.g. fruit, tomato and derivatives);
• Knowledge of Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley PLC software;
• Basic component knowledge (instrumentation, inverters, pneumatic valves, etc.;);
• Good knowledge of English language.
