Project Engineer

Cft group is looking for a professional in the role of Project Engineer for its headquarter in Parma, Italy, within the Line Engineer Department. Responding to the Packaging Engineering Director, he/she will be in charge of implementing the project, managing the technical aspects from the moment the order is operational to testing, with a view to continuous improvement and attention to People, Process, Performance, with insertion in a multinational and multicultural environment that is constantly growing.

What you will support:

• Execute the technical part of the supply starting from the output produced by the Quotation Specialist;                               –
• Support the PM in managing the technical aspects of the order;
• Ensure compliance with the contractual technical specifications also through interfacing with the customer and suppliers;
• Provide technical support to the sales department, the technical department and the PM, in terms of plant design, interface with the customer’s homologous technical functions with regard to the preparation of spaces, the availability of utilities according to the requirements of the plant to be installed, agreeing on the position and sizing of drains at the customer’s premises, agreeing on interfaces with any service plants already existing at the customer’s premises or purchased directly by the customer from other suppliers;
• Support the Purchasing Department in the purchase of machines from third-party suppliers by verifying their sizing, technical specifications and defining their interfaces with other machines in the line
• Coordinate with internal and group UTs to transfer technical specifications and define interfaces of internal production machines with the rest of the line;
• Carry out the FAT of the external supply machines at the suppliers’ premises and support the PM in carrying out the internal FAT if required by the contract;
• Verify the technical compliance of the entire supply with respect to the contract stipulated with the customer;
• Support the PM during the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) of the internal construction machines.

To be Successful in this Role:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Food Technology;
• At least 5 years’ experience in the role;
• Knowledge of the main packaging technologies present in the Food Packaging market;
• Knowledge of the operating logic of industrial lines;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
