Quality Engineer

We are looking for a resource to join the Product Quality Department Fabrication of CFT Group in the role of Quality Engineer. The candidate will be responsible, following an appropriate internal training period, for coordinating and managing the quality control activities of the manufacturing process, ensuring that raw materials, production processes and finished products meet set standards.

Tasks

• Follow all manufacturing processes in the Fabrication division, which include both light carpentry and machine tool machining;
• Create verification processes to monitor quality standards;
• Review and implement production processes to maintain quality standards;
• Create documentation to attest to quality standards;
• Work closely with manufacturing to ensure that quality protocols are followed and necessary verification processes and subsequent implementations are implemented;
• Analyze potential issues and develop solution strategies;
• Contribute to the definition of KPIs to ensure proper monitoring of the process, implement its measurement and corrective actions in case of deviation from the standard;
• Management of measurement instruments: identify those needed according to the control plan and calibration plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical/scientific field or Mechanical Technician degree.
• Experience in the role of at least 3 years;
• Reading technical drawing, along with knowledge of carpentry machining and knowledge of basic measuring tools;
• Personal orientation to work for objectives;
• Analytical skills, autonomy in data management and analysis, and attention to detail;
• Problem solving orientation and good interpersonal skills.
