Production Planner

We are looking for a resource to join the Production Department in the role of Production Planner. The candidate will be responsible, following an appropriate period of shadowing, for activities related to production planning with a view to continuous improvement.

Tasks

  • Receive orders and enter them into the system;
  • Schedule work orders on production resources in accordance with internal constraints (lead times, production capacity and bottlenecks etc.);
  • Monitoring correct order progress against the planned;
  • System maintenance (master data, cycles);
  • Planning of material flows in synergy with warehouse/shipping department;
  • Improve projects/actions from a Kaizen/6σ perspective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and/or management engineering;
  • Experience in the role of at least 2 years;
  • Origin from the engineering sector — plus from the food & beverage sector;
  • Lean Manufacturing skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language;
  • Management and interpersonal skills.

Location: Parma.
