Free Flow Premium kegged and canned wines are now served in restaurants, hotels, stores and entertainment venues across the United States every day.<\/p>\n<p>Comac has helped the company provide high-level service by a\u00a0<strong>state-of-the-art kegging plant, tailored<\/strong>\u00a0to their needs.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take a closer look at this project.<\/p>\n<h2>The customer goal: high quality kegged wine<\/h2>\n<p>We were immediately on the same page as the customer: its mission, in fact, is to\u00a0<strong>distribute high-quality wine on tap<\/strong>, fully optimizing production and, above all,\u00a0<strong>respecting the environment<\/strong>\u00a0(a value we also hold dear).<\/p>\n<p>Free Flow Wines\u2019 strategy is based on\u00a0<strong>three fundamental principles<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sustainability &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>If correctly sanitized, a keg can be\u00a0<strong>reused countless times<\/strong>, thus eliminating tons of waste.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Product freshness &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Much more than an open bottle in contact with air, wine is\u00a0<strong>perfectly preserved<\/strong>\u00a0in a keg, glass after glass.<\/li>\n<li>Product\u00a0<strong>cost-\u00a0<\/strong>Eliminating packaging provides significant savings to both producer and end consumer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Taking these principles on board, Comac started designing the best solution.<\/p>\n<h2>Machines chosen to create the kegging system<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4591 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comacgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Bergamo-300x219.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"482\" height=\"352\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comacgroup.com\/keg-filling-system\">Keg line<\/a>\u00a0complete with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comacgroup.com\/keg-filling-system\/external-keg-washer\">external keg washer<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2 5+2T model washers\/fillers<\/li>\n<li>5 washing tanks;<\/li>\n<li>Ink-jet encoders;<\/li>\n<li>1 palletizing robot that also applies the collar and cap;<\/li>\n<li>Keg and pallet conveyors;<\/li>\n<li>2 buffer tanks;<\/li>\n<li>3-tank CIP system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to selecting some standard machines from the Comac range, our designers also customized the system by creating two separate filling lines, so that the customer is able to\u00a0<strong>keg two different products at the same time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Results achieved with Comac kegging system<\/h2>\n<p>This partnership allowed the customer to achieve its goals.
