This is true for the champagne, and it is equally true for water and carbonated soft drinks.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;BE CAREFUL TO PREMIX<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Premix Unit<\/strong>\u00a0performs the following operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>water deaeration<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>water and syrup mixing<\/strong>\u00a0to get \u00a0carbonated soft-drinks at predetermined brix;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carbonation<\/strong>\u00a0to get fizzy drink;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2710 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comacgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/comac-premix-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"339\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>deaeration system<\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0<strong>Premix Unit<\/strong>\u00a0is constituted by a tank\u00a0 ( maintained in depression by a liquid ring vacuum pump o) in which the water is sprayed, increasing the exchange surface between the water and the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In this way oxygen and other gases contained in the water are eliminated.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This procedure allows to lengthen the shelf-life of the soft drinks, in fact,\u00a0<strong>the absence of oxygen prevents the aerobic bacteria to degrade the product<\/strong>, moreover, the absence of air in the product allows to avoid the formation of foam during the filling phase.<\/p>\n<p>Following \u00a0steps are:\u00a0<strong>the water with syrup mixing phase, the cooling phase and the carbonation phase,<\/strong>\u00a0where the carbon dioxide is added with a direct injection of CO2. The amount of CO2 introduced into the drink is adjustable by a modulating valve.<\/p>\n<p>The carbon dioxide mixed with the still drink is \u00a0sent to a\u00a0<strong>static mixer<\/strong>\u00a0which has the task of\u00a0<strong>splitting the bubbles of CO2<\/strong>\u00a0and facilitate the absorption and the intimate drink mixing.<\/p>\n<p>The drink leaking from the\u00a0<strong>Premix Unit<\/strong>\u00a0is collected in a CO2 pressurized storage tank and then sent to the filler.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>correct water \/ syrup ratio<\/strong>\u00a0can be obtained by a double chamber piston pump ( one for the water and the second for the syrup ) with adjustable pistons in order to achieve variables dilution ratios in function of the beverage to get and in function of the concentration of the syrup coming from the syrup room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The system is self-regulating thanks to the installation of a brix control device for the finished beverage.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instead of\u00a0 the dosing pump, flowmeters can be installed \u00a0in order to obtain the\u00a0<strong>correct acqua\/syrup\/CO2 ratio<\/strong>, according to the given values, the modulating valves alter the instantaneous flow of the fluids.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1169 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comacgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Premix-5.000-lh-2-colonne-294x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"583\" height=\"595\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The use of electronic meters has several advantages compared to the traditional system with the metering pump &#8211; \u00a0even if the initial cost is higher &#8211; such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduction of losses of concentrated syrup at beginning and end of production<\/li>\n<li>Reducing the time required for the change of product \/ recipe<\/li>\n<li>Constant brix of the \u00a0finished product even in the intermediate steps\u00a0 and regardless of the brix obtained in syrup room<\/li>\n<li>Reducing the amount of concentrated syrup used<\/li>\n<li>Greater ease of use and maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Questions ?
