Today we talk about two\u00a0\u00a0<strong>absolute innovations<\/strong>\u00a0in our range and both of them are\u00a0<strong>Comac patented<\/strong>: the\u00a0<strong>Microleaks detection system for keg lines<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Brushless valve for bottles and cans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the system for kegs is to\u00a0<strong>detect any micro-leakage of CO2 from a pressurized keg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At present, the technologies that are implemented allow to detect CO2 leakages via viewing systems or systems that monitor the differential pressure. The patented technology that Comac introduces, in cooperation with FT System company, offers\u00a0<strong>higher precision<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>sensitivity\u00a0<\/strong>compared to the means previously described.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the machine is\u00a0<strong>capable to handle all types of kegs<\/strong>, in stainless steel or plastic,\u00a0<strong>with all fittings<\/strong>. With its\u00a0<strong>modular architecture<\/strong>, the machine can be supplied and\/or embedded in a pre-existing line. In both cases, the\u00a0<strong>machine is equipped with its own PLC and a system for data, statistics and trend management<\/strong>\u00a0easily accessible by the final customer. As for all Comac machines, this as well can be provided with\u00a0<strong>remote assistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the\u00a0<strong>new brushless valve<\/strong>\u00a0is concerned, it is\u00a0<strong>suitable to fill bottles and cans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The main feature of the valve is the presence of an\u00a0<strong>electric cylinder<\/strong>\u00a0(driven by a servo motor) in the upper part. The purpose of this cylinder is to move the filling valve spool.<\/p>\n<p>At different height positions of this spool correspond the different phases of the filling cycle (vacuum, flushing, pressurization, filling, etc.). In other words, the electric cylinder moves the spool of the filling valve opening and closing the different passages.<\/p>\n<p>This innovation allows to\u00a0<strong>remove all the common pneumatic piston valves<\/strong>\u00a0normally used on all the bottles and cans filling valves. Each standard filling valve normally mounts 3 to 6 pneumatic valves, so it means\u00a0<strong>hundreds of valves<\/strong>\u00a0used in a single monoblock, which\u00a0<strong>can be eliminated<\/strong>\u00a0with the new Comac filling valve.<\/p>\n<p>Another important advantage is the\u00a0<strong>almost complete removal of the pneumatic air consumption<\/strong>\u00a0from the monoblock in advantage of the electric feeding.
