I percorsi di\u00a0<strong>Comac<\/strong>\u00a0e BBC si sono intrecciati crescendo insieme: dalle 850 birre in gara nel 2014 (giudicate da 60 esperti) si \u00e8 arrivati ai numeri di quest\u2019anno, nel quale 1100 etichette si sono sfidate per conquistare il palato di 75 giudici provenienti da tutto il mondo.<\/p>\n<p>Quello che non \u00e8 cambiato, per\u00f2, \u00e8 la cura con cui\u00a0<strong>Comac<\/strong>\u00a0prepara, gi\u00e0 molti mesi prima dell\u2019evento, la propria partecipazione: dal 2014, infatti, viene assegnato uno specialissimo Comac Trophy alle birre che si sono distinte durante i tre giorni di degustazioni.<\/p>\n<p>Il\u00a0<strong>Comac Trophy<\/strong>, da sempre, \u00e8 affidato allo scultore bergamasco<strong>\u00a0Luca Cat\u00f2<\/strong>, che realizza personalmente le proprie opere usando terracotta e altri materiali. Pezzi unici che nascondono molti significati simbolici, legati al mondo della birra ma anche e soprattutto alla bellezza dell\u2019arte.<\/p>\n<p>Per l\u2019esordio del 2014, per esempio, l\u2019opera si intitolava<em><strong>\u00a0Anche le cose di terra possono riempirsi d\u2019aria e volare<\/strong><\/em>: un pesce-aquilone molto particolare, che univa in un\u2019unica figura la concretezza della terra, la leggerezza dell\u2019aria e la sensazione di libert\u00e0 di un corpo che fluttua nel mare.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2015, Luca ha realizzato\u00a0<strong><em>La pozione<\/em><\/strong>: una giovane donna, in cima a una torre, sparge nell\u2019aria le foglie e le loro essenze, che simboleggiano quelle che ci devono essere in una buona birra e che la distinguono da tutte le altre.<\/p>\n<p>Quest\u2019anno, infine, \u00e8 toccato a<strong><em>\u00a0Lo spirito del luppolo<\/em><\/strong>, ispirato dalle antiche abbazie in cui la birra viene prodotta con metodi che si tramandano da secoli.
