Am 3. Dezember 2018 gab ATS bekannt, dass die Toronto Stock Exchange („TSX“) den beabsichtigten Aktienrückkauf des Unternehmens im Rahmen eines Normal Course Issuer Bid („NCIB“) genehmigt hat. Im Rahmen dieses NCIB hat ATS die Möglichkeit, bis zu maximal 3 000 000 Stammaktien zur Auflösung zu erwerben, was etwa 3,2 % der 94 139 097 Stammaktien entspricht, die bisher ausgegeben wurden und bis zum 16. November 2018 im Umlauf waren. Die TSX bewilligte heute den Ergänzungsantrag von ATS zur Erhöhung der maximalen Anzahl von Stammaktien, die im Rahmen eines NCIB gekauft werden können, auf 6 366 405 Stammaktien. Das entspricht rund 10 % des Streubesitzes von 63 664 050 Stammaktien (per Definition von TSX und zum Berechnungszeitpunkt am 15. November 2018). Die Änderung am NCIB tritt zum 11. Februar 2019 in Kraft.
