Designed and produced by Gemini Farm Machinery in partnership with Raytec Vision, Bellavista is the world’s first baby leaf harvester with optical sorting, developed to operate both in open fields and enclosed spaces such as greenhouses.
During harvesting, the product is cut to a preset height by means of a pulley-driven belt blade, then conveyed to a cleaning and sorting system located in the upper part of the harvester and consisting of a metal mesh belt constantly shaken by two beater bars that eliminate smaller foreign bodies, which fall through the mesh. The product is conveyed on by the shaker belt to the back of the machine and the Rayfly-Agro sorter, whose dual optical system ejects larger foreign bodies with moving flaps.
